Thoroughly enjoyed excellent freshly cooked breakfasts!!

The restaurant had good meals. The location was magnificent and very pretty with exceptional views. Visited St Luke's Church, one of the tourist spots, located at a walking distance from the hotel.

    Nice

The location was perfect and quiet for first time visitors to Buckfastleigh. The hotel was in a perfect area. The restaurant was very nice with friendly and helpful staff, I tried appetising dishes.

    Their staff were unacceptable.

The hotel was excellent value and homey, yet I stayed for 1 night only. The food was outstanding, very good service. Lovely location in a beautiful setting, all was very good. Further, it was short walk to the running river

Well, it was a very pleasant stay for one night. The hotel's location was riverside, lovely by the river. And it was also short walk to the pub as well as Buckfastleigh.

Staff were very helpful and efficient at any hour!!

The breakfast with views overlooking the river was served in the restaurant. The hotel had a riverside setting right beside the pub. Moreover, it was just off a nice river, which is super agreeable, Buckfast and Buckfastleigh

We had a delightful dinner at the restaurant. While my steak and chips were excellent, my partner's meal was not up to par. The potatoes were undercooked and the asparagus was also disappointing. However, the restaurant manager was incredibly understanding and

The best thing was how excellent the staff were. The hotel's location was excellent, short walk to Buckfastleigh Steam railway station and the river bank. Apart from that, D-Day was 10 minutes' drive
